United Kingdom - Visa for Indian Citizens

Indian nationals require a Standard Visitor Visa to travel to the UK for business purposes such as meetings, conferences, and academic research.

Government Fee: £135 (~INR 14,500). Processing: 15 working days (standard). Stay: Up to 6 months.

Passport must be taken to a Biometric centre. Cover letter must clearly state all expenses will be borne by the applicant.

• Passport (must be carried to Biometric centre for scan)
• Duly filled Visa Application Form
• Cover Letter from applicant stating: name, designation, nationality, passport number, purpose of visit, period of stay with dates, and confirmation that all expenses (medical, boarding, lodging) will be borne by the applicant. Use plain paper if employed; company letterhead if self-employed.
• Financial Documents: Income Tax Returns for last 3 years; Original personal bank statement for last 6 months (mentioning Bank name and bank telephone number); other financial proof such as shares/mutual funds investment, property papers, Fixed Deposit Receipts
• If Employed: 3-month salary slips and NOC from employer
• If Self-Employed: Registration proof / Partnership deed / MOA of the Company
